报告人简介：
Associate Prof. Khum PAUDAYAL received his PhD from Institute of Palaeontology, Vienna University, Vienna, Austria, under the supervision of Professor David Kay Ferguson under Austrian Government (？AD) Fellowship and did his Post Doctorate from Senckenberg Research Institute, Frankfurt, Germany, which was supported by the Alexander von Humboldt (AvH) Fellowship and supervised by Professor Volker Mosbrugger. Now he is an Associate Professor of Central Department of Geology, Tribhuvan University of Nepal since 2009. From 1994 to 2009 he was an Assistant Professor in the same department. He is one of the recipients ofthe American Association of Stratigraphic Palynologist (AASP Inc.) fellowships in 2000. He has contributed almost 40 papers in national and international journals He was Vice President of Nepal Geological Society (2011-2013) and editor of Journal of Nepal Geological Society (2010-2011). Dr. Paudayal is associated with ITPCAS scientists since 2007.
This year he is honored as a CAS President's International Fellowship Initiative (PIFI) for Visiting Scientist at Institute of Tibetan Plateau Research, Chinese Academy of Sciences for two months. The research collaborator is Prof. Xiaomin Fang.
