报告人简介：
Assistant professor in Charney School of Marine Science, University of Haifa, Israel. He is the Israeli Delegate for ECORD (European Consortium for Ocean Research Drilling) Science Support and Advisory Committee. His major research interests focuses in marine geology and limnogeology with application to paleoclimate and paleotectonism, while deciphering processes occurring in both marine and lacustrine basins. He finished his master degree in Hebrew University, Jerusalem, Israel at 2003. And received his PhD degree from University of Geneva, Switzerland at 2008. He did postdoc research during 2009-2011 at University of Bergen, Norway. And became an independent PI in 2011 and established the Basin Analysis and Petrophysical Laboratory at the University of Haifa. He was awarded the Marie Curie Fellowship in 2012 and was awarded the Wolf Foundation Krill Prize for excellence in scientific achievements in 2013.
