　　报告人简介：

　　Dr. Tapos Kumar Goswami is an Associate Professor in the Department of Applied Geology, Dibrugarh University, Dibrugarh, India. Dr. Goswami did his PhD in the field of structural geology from Gauhati University, India in 2001 and till now published more than 30 papers in different national and international journals.   He has completed four major research projects of Government of India and was the convener of the third Rock Deformation and Structures (RDs-III) Conference at Dibrugarh University, India. He is currently supervising the PhD research of six students and he has been working on different aspects of ‘Eastern Himalaya and the Naga fold and –thrust belt of Indo-Myanmar ranges’. He has authored two books and also contributed to the volume on: Ductile shear zones: from macro to micro scale published by John Wiley and Sons Ltd. 2015.  He is Fellow of Geological Society of India and Member of other geoscience organization like Structural Geology and Tectonics Studies Group-India, Association of Petroleum Geophysicts DU Chapter.
