　  Prof. Anton Brancelj，斯洛文尼亚国家生物研究所淡水与陆地生态系统研究部主任，主要从事淡水生态系统及其对环境变化和人类活动的响应研究。研究方法涉及湖泊生物学、湖泊沉积学和地球化学指标。主要研究对象涉及欧洲阿尔卑斯山地湖泊、泰国、台湾的亚热带湖泊和青藏高原的高原湖泊，主持和参与过多个欧盟发起的国际项目和斯洛文尼亚国内研究项目，发表研究论文近百篇。

　  Abstract:
　  This presentation is talking about the behaviors of the lakes in the environment, mainly focusing the structure and function of lake ecosystems. Land surface water bodies are necessary productions for the living and developing of human beings. The good quality of surface water body is very important to the utilization of human beings. The quality, which is linked to the biological community, the hydrological characteristics and the chemical characteristics, is reflected in many factors, such as stratification & water balance, nutrients, cycling of material, sedimentation, structure of the lake’s ecosystem, representatives in water column & littoral, invasive species, pollution, water use, regulations, constructions and so on. The structure of the water column control the biology distribution of the lake. Oxygen, CO2, phosporus andphosphate,nitrogen and nitrate, ammonia, iron, sulphur and sulphide are important elements to influence lake ecosystem. The influence of pollution, eutrophication, invasive species, water use, constructions are kept increasing with more population pressure.
